Over the course of three months, I had the incredible opportunity to illustrate a children’s book about a curious and imaginative little girl named Julita. This was my first professional illustration project, and it truly felt like a dream come true.
Building on the digital illustration skills I developed during my thesis, using Procreate, I approached this project with a much stronger sense of confidence in both my creative process and visual storytelling. I collaborated closely with the author to understand Julita’s personality, emotions, and the tone of each scene, translating the narrative into warm, engaging visuals that bring her journey to life.
