Hello there!!! My name is Flor Eugenia Buitrago, a graphic designer based in Miami.
I recently graduated from Florida International University with a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Digital Arts, specializing in Graphic Design, and a minor in Art History, in December 2024.

Originally from Miami with Salvadoran and Nicaraguan roots, I’ve always been drawn to the world of art and design, and I’m excited to see where this journey takes me. While I’ve grown up in Florida, I’d like to step out of my comfort zone and embrace new experiences around the world.

As an artist, my artwork takes a conceptual and experimental approach towards how we view the important things in our lives, whether they are people, materials, our culture, environment, or even the memories we have gotten throughout our lives, good or bad.
Inspired by artists such as Alphonse Mucha, Luba Lukova, and Malika Favre, my work may explore different topics and styles, but I would like for it to combine relationships and experiences into graphic posters or illustrations.
I would also like to make art that is precious and that relate to my viewers since many pieces are made through my own experiences and emotions, showing the importance or difficulties in finding my self-identity in this diverse world. Regardless, my work can have a similar goal, bringing a smile to someone’s face or bringing new thoughts and points of views about the world.
As a designer, I enjoy delving in topics such as branding, logo design, book design, publishing, and photography.
Outside of design, I love drawing, playing games with friends, watching anime and K-dramas, and listening to K-pop. My creativity and passions come from all these little moments in life that inspire me to keep learning and growing, both as an artist and as a person.
My lil moodboard:

I’m excited to continue forging connections in the design world and to collaborate with industries that challenge me, allow me to contribute, and help me evolve as a professional. My journey in graphic design is just beginning, and I can’t wait to see what opportunities lie ahead!
